Incineration of any type of waste and burial of waste is a crime since April 7, 2022

On April 7, 2022, the O.U.G. no. 38/2022 which makes important changes regarding the O.U.G. no. 92/2021 on the waste regime.

Thus, according to the new regulations, the following new acts constitute crimes and are punishable by imprisonment from 3 to 5 years or by a fine: a.) the burning of any type of waste and / or substance or object; b.) burial of waste; c.) disposal of waste outside the authorized spaces;
