Fines improperly applied by CNAIR annulled by the court

In November and December 2022, TCB-LAW lawyers obtained in court the cancellation of fines of 4500 lei each. The clients of the law firm, one of the most important international transport companies in Romania, were targeted by CNAIR controllers and unfairly fined by them.

Each time, the CNAIR controllers took advantage of the long time spent in the customs queues, which made it difficult for the drivers to pay the toll, and applied the fines immediately upon entering the country, without giving the drivers time to reach the first gas station to pay the toll.

It took the intervention of the courts to stop the negative consequences of the abuses of the National Road Company.
